A volunteer group of parents and teachers with the goal of enhancing the school experience for families and staff.
Last year our fundraisers included a Fun Run for lower school and a Color Run for upper school in partnership with Boosterthon. Through these fundraisers and others like it, PTO is able to provide funds for larger campus projects and help fund upper school house games.
Our teachers (and staff) are an important part of our school and make a tremendous impact in the lives of our students. PTO seeks to bless our teachers and staff and encourage them throughout the year. For example, we provide daily treats during Teacher Appreciation Week, staff lunches, holiday treats, Sonic drinks, etc.
PTO coordinates room parents for each lower school classroom. This provides teachers with additional assistance and families with a way to get involved in the classroom.
Sometimes the school needs extra hands to help an activity run smoothly. PTO will often assist in recruiting and organizing the needed volunteers. Utilizing the connections made with our members and volunteer list, we are able to assist the school in finding the help they need.
We gather input from parents and then communicate that to the administration to address any concerns. We encourage participation at PTO meetings from all members!
The FCAC-PTO is dedicated to strengthening the bridge between school and home by fostering community, encouraging communication, and creating a positive campus environment. This will be accomplished by:

This is our seventh year at Founders Carrollton and my fifth year serving as a PTO officer. In the past, I have served as Vice President, Room Parent Coordinator, and class room parent. We chose this school because of the classical education, small class size, and virtue-focused culture. I love to engage with other families as well as serve our amazing teachers and staff. Building a sense of community, retaining our families, and advocating for charter schools are just a few of my priorities. My background is in Marketing, Communications, and Recruiting, which I hope can be useful in this role. I look forward to listening to your ideas and advocating for our families.
We would like to fill this position at the first PTO General Meeting. If you are interested, please contact fcacarrolltonpto@gmail.com.

By day, I’m a mortgage loan officer (aka the numbers ninja), but my favorite title is “mom.” With a big heart for our school and a love for building community, I can’t wait to help support our students, staff, and families. I’m always up for lending a hand, cheering loud, and finding ways to make this year a memorable one for everyone. Let’s make this year fly high with Falcon pride!
